Mr. Ter Horst (1966) is a BSc in construction mechanics and has successfully finished the two year management education at the IBO institute. He has worked for 9 years at KEMA. First involved in planning and project management on a safety study for a nuclear power plant, after that managing a team at KEMA QUALITY involved in testing and certification of installation materials and components.  

In 1994 he joined All-Line Inc. A Taiwan based manufacturer (www.All-line.com) leading in the OEM production of plug in timers and other electronical products. He worked for over 8 years as VP of Technical Affairs during which he spent minimum 90 days a year at plants and sites in China. During this period he also developed a large network at the market side, the world of DIY and Retail. Via this he gained a large experience in the way manufacturing issues in China are interwoven with the world of retail and DIY business.

In 2004 he left All-line to found ASIA-XL. 

ASIA-XL is developing internet products for manufacturers in China and importers and retailers in Europe that will help developing products, producing products, maintaining the quality of the product, selling the product. These internet applications are developed in China and for that ASIA-XL has opened an office close to the best IT educations in China, the capital city of Beijing.
